Teachers announce strike: schools in Northern Cyprus will not operate
The secondary education teachers' union KTOEÖS has announced that a strike will take place in all secondary schools and high schools in Northern Cyprus on April 6.
According to the union's president, Selma Eylem, the educational process will be halted from 07:55 to 13:05, so no classes will be held in schools.
The union stated that they are ready to discuss changes to the academic calendar later with the Ministry of Education to compensate for the missed classes.
