UV Levels on the Rise: Weather Forecast for Northern Cyprus – May 27
According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, Northern Cyprus will be under the influence of low pressure and warm, humid air on Tuesday, May 27. The forecast calls for clear skies and dry conditions, with no rain expected.
Temperatures are set to climb 2–3°C above the seasonal average, ranging between 26°C and 32°C in most areas.
No storms are expected across the island. Winds will blow from the southwest at moderate strength, occasionally picking up to strong gusts.
Weather Warnings in Effect
Meteorologists have issued three important warnings for Northern Cyprus:

Extreme wildfire risk – Due to dry and warm conditions, there’s a high risk of wildfires.

Very high UV index – Sun exposure should be limited. Avoid staying in direct sunlight for more than 10 minutes.

African dust in the atmosphere – Fine dust particles remain suspended in the air, which may affect air quality.
