80 Hectares of Forest Land to be Restored in Bafra
The government of the TRNC intends to restore 80 hectares of forest land in Bafra. For this purpose, a plot of land has been leased on a long-term basis on behalf of a commercial firm.
The Council of Ministers of the TRNC has established the company Zafer Taahhüt İnşaat ve Ticaret A.Ş with the aim of restoring 80 hectares of forest land in Bafra and planting new trees. The land plot has been leased on behalf of the firm for 37 years.
"The Council of Ministers has decided to lease 80 hectares of forest land in the tourist investment zone of Bafra on behalf of Zafer Taahhüt İnşaat ve Ticaret A.Ş. for 37 years for the purpose of restoration and planting new trees," the document states.
The specified land plot will remain leased until July 4, 2061.
