Stray Dogs Attack Farm, Kill Calf and Three Lambs in Lefke Village
In the village of Taşpınar, located in the Lefke district, a group of stray dogs broke into a farm and killed a calf and three lambs. The devastated farmer and local residents are now calling on authorities to take urgent action.
According to villagers, attacks by abandoned dogs are becoming more frequent, causing growing concern among farmers. They are urging the authorities to implement long-term solutions, such as increasing the number of shelters and rehabilitation centers for stray animals.
"We work hard to keep our farms running despite all the challenges, but stray dogs are destroying our efforts. Who will compensate us for these losses? The authorities must step in and find a solution," the farmer said.
Residents fear that similar attacks will continue as the number of stray dogs in the area keeps rising.
