Four People Injured in Traffic Accident in Northern Cyprus
Four individuals were injured in a traffic accident on the Nicosia-Famagusta highway.
According to the police press office, the accident occurred yesterday evening around 5:50 PM. A 44-year-old driver was heading toward Famagusta when he failed to yield while making a right turn toward Turunçlu, colliding with a vehicle driven by a 23-year-old traveling from Famagusta to Nicosia.
As a result of the collision, the second vehicle continued moving due to inertia, struck the curb, and flipped onto its roof in the middle of the road.
The accident left four men injured: both drivers and two passengers from one of the vehicles. They were all taken to the state hospital in Famagusta. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
