Five Injured in Traffic Accident in Northern Cyprus, Including Two Children
A serious traffic accident in Northern Cyprus left five people injured, including two children.
According to police reports, the crash happened around 5:30 PM on the Tatlısu–Küçükköy road, between the 3rd and 4th kilometer markers.
A 57-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle, veered into the opposite lane, and collided head-on with a car driven by a 40-year-old man.
Both drivers were injured in the crash, along with three passengers in the second vehicle—a 40-year-old woman and two children, aged 12 and 14.
All five victims were taken to Famagusta State Hospital, where they are receiving treatment.
Police have launched an investigation into the accident.
