Four Injured in Head-On Collision in Kyrenia
A serious car accident in Kyrenia over the weekend left four people injured after a head-on collision. One of the victims was taken to a local hospital, while the other three were transferred to Nicosia for further treatment.
According to police reports, the crash happened on Sunday around 11:40 AM on Semih Sancar Street. A 26-year-old woman lost control of her car while making a turn, veering into the opposite lane and crashing head-on into a vehicle driven by a 44-year-old man.
The 44-year-old driver suffered multiple injuries and was taken to Dr. Suat Günsel Hospital, where he remains under medical care.
The 26-year-old driver and her two passengers were initially treated at Akçiçek Hospital in Kyrenia before being transferred to the emergency department at Nicosia General Hospital.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
