Two detainees escape from police station in Famagusta
Two suspects detained in connection with shoplifting cases have escaped from the holding cells of the Famagusta Police Department. Police are currently searching for them.
According to law enforcement agencies, Tugay Çetin and Ömer Çetin were arrested for thefts at several supermarkets in the Yeniboğaziçi area.
However, while in custody at the Mağusa Polis Müdürlüğü, they managed to escape from their cell.
The police have declared the suspects wanted and are conducting search operations.
