23-Year-Old Man Drowns in Famagusta
A young man drowned in Famagusta. His body was found motionless in the sea.
According to the police press service, the tragedy occurred yesterday around 3:00 PM when 23-year-old Mustafa Uba Muhammad, a resident of Famagusta, went swimming in the sea. After some time, other beach goers found him unresponsive in the water.
The victim was brought to shore, and an ambulance was called. Despite the medics' best efforts, he could not be saved: the doctors pronounced him dead.
The cause of death will be determined following an autopsy. The investigation is ongoing.
