A man in Kyrenia fined for rollerblading while holding onto a moving car

In Kyrenia, police fined a man who was rollerblading while holding onto a moving vehicle. The dangerous incident took place on Rauf Denktaş Street and was captured on video circulated on social media.
The footage shows the man putting himself at serious risk by holding onto the rear of a car driving on a busy road. After the video surfaced, traffic police quickly identified both the violator and the driver.
According to police, the man was fined 5,120 Turkish Lira for violating traffic rules and endangering public safety. The car’s driver may also face penalties for enabling the illegal act.
Kyrenia police stressed that such stunts pose a serious threat to life and health, both to the individual and to other road users. Residents and visitors were urged to avoid dangerous maneuvers and strictly follow traffic laws.
Law enforcement reminded the public that such violations will not go unpunished: they carry heavy fines and administrative measures.
