3rd International Museum and Art Symposium kicks off in Girne
The Municipality of Girne (Girne Belediyesi) has launched the 3rd International Museum and Art Symposium, which began with an opening exhibition on the evening of September 15. The event, held with the participation of artists from several countries, will continue until September 25.
According to the municipality, around 30 artists from Turkey, Spain, Germany, Latvia, Thailand, Greece, Malaysia, and Cyprus are taking part in the symposium. Participants are working in sculpture, painting, and other artistic disciplines.
The final exhibition of the works is scheduled for September 27 at the new service building of the Municipality of Girne (Girne Belediyesi Yeni Hizmet Binası). During the symposium, artworks will also be on display at the Girne Municipality Social Life Center (Girne Belediyesi Sosyal Yaşam Merkezi, the old municipal building) and at Ramadan Cemil Square.
Visitors can attend the exhibitions daily from 11:00 to 21:00. Organizers emphasize that showcasing new works offers residents the chance to experience international artistic practices while supporting the local cultural scene.
