Man's body discovered on shore in Dipkarpaz
In Northern Cyprus, around 09:30 this morning, a man's body was discovered in the Piknik-Burnu area of Dipkarpaz.
According to police reports, the body washed up on a rocky section of the coast. The identity of the deceased has not yet been established.
Law enforcement agencies are conducting a scene investigation and continuing their inquiries. The cause of death and the circumstances of the incident are currently unknown.
Earlier, a woman's body in a state of decomposition was also found in the Bafra area. A connection between these cases has not been confirmed.
Police urge the public to refrain from spreading unverified information until the investigation is complete.
