Three people detained in Girne: attack on police and disturbance of public order

In Girne, police detained three individuals on a number of serious charges, including assault on law enforcement officers, obstruction of official duties, as well as intoxication and disturbance of public order.
According to the police, the incident occurred during a patrol intervention in response to a public disorder. The suspects, who were intoxicated, resisted, as a result of which detention measures were applied. All three were taken to the police station, and the investigation is ongoing.
