An electric bicycle project has been launched in Kyrenia

The electric bicycle project, for which the municipality had previously completed a tender, has officially started in Kyrenia. The new system has already begun operating on the city’s streets and has attracted significant interest from both local residents and tourists.

Although the project is still at an early stage, demand for electric bicycles has proven to be high. This confirms the relevance of the initiative aimed at developing eco-friendly transport and convenient ways of moving around the city.

Kyrenia Mayor Murat Şenkul commented on the launch of the project on social media, stating:

“Good evening, Kyrenia. Our electric bicycle project, for which we conducted the tender, has begun to come to life in our city. Despite the first days of operation, we are pleased with the strong interest from residents and tourists. Tazı is now in Kyrenia.”

The municipality expects the project to contribute to reducing traffic congestion, improving urban mobility, and promoting sustainable modes of transportation.
