Drug Swallower Hospitalized in Güzelyurt
A man arrested for drug possession in Güzelyurt has been hospitalized after swallowing substances that the police could not find.
According to the police press service, the 41-year-old man was detained on suspicion of drug possession. During a search of his home in Güzelyurt, the police found half a gram of a substance, presumably methamphetamine, along with equipment used for drug consumption.
However, the suspect managed to swallow some of the drugs that the police had not yet discovered.
As a result, the suspect became ill and required medical attention. He was taken to Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital, where he is currently under observation in the intensive care unit of the neurology department.
