A Protest March Against Tree Cutting Took Place in İskele

A walking protest was held in İskele against the uprooting of trees on public forest lands. The event was organized by the Patika Association of Nature Sports.
In a statement signed by the organization's chairman Erdoğan Işık, it was noted that the purpose of the march was to express disagreement with the destruction of green spaces and to draw public attention to the issue of protecting public forest areas.
The organizers emphasized that such actions cause serious harm to the environment and require public oversight, and they called on authorities to consider ecological consequences when making decisions regarding natural areas.
