In İskele, the Unaro River in Ergazi has turned into a landfill

In the village of Ergazi (İskele district), the bed of the Unaro River has become clogged with household waste. Local residents complain about the accumulation of garbage, unpleasant odors, and risks to the environment, especially after rainfall, when the waste can be carried further downstream.
According to residents, the problem is not a one-off incident and requires urgent intervention by municipal and environmental services.
