Traditional Summer Activities for Children Kick Off in Iskele
In Iskele, the municipality has launched its annual summer activities for children starting August 5. These events will run until September 10.
The program offers children aged 6 to 12 a variety of educational and entertaining activities during their summer break. It includes classes in modern and folk dance, music, chess, workshops for young chefs, and sessions on pottery and clay crafting. Additionally, there will be artistic workshops covering painting, pencil drawing, watercolor, pattern making, crafts, and stone painting. At the end of the program, children will receive certificates of participation.
As part of the cultural activities, children will also have the chance to visit the historic fortress city of Famagusta and the ghost town of Varosha.
Registration for the activities costs 100 TL.
