In Karpas, English courses for adults have started at the Rotary Language Laboratory

The Rotary Language Laboratory, established at the Karpas Vocational School and officially opened in November 2024, has launched English courses for adult learners in Northern Cyprus. The courses officially began on December 25, 2025; the first stage involved conducting an entrance test to determine language proficiency levels.

The project is implemented within the framework of a global grant with the participation of the Girne Liman Rotary Club and its international partner — the Metropolitan Istanbul Barbaros Rotary Club (district 2420). The laboratory is intended not only for students of the Karpas Vocational School but also for a wide range of local residents.

The organizers emphasize that the courses are aimed at adults of all ages and professions who wish to improve their English skills. Conducting the entrance test allowed the determination of learners' levels before the start of classes.
