24-Hour Street Patrol Begins in Kyrenia
Since April 1st, 24-hour street patrols have begun in Kyrenia. The urban security unit will now provide services without breaks or weekends.
"After completing the restoration of the ancient port and accelerating the municipality's port projects in Kyrenia, a 24-hour patrolling system has been introduced in the city for security purposes, which is the region's biggest deficiency," municipal authorities stated.
For round-the-clock operational response, an office of the Urban Security Unit has been opened at the entrance to the Ancient Port of Kyrenia. Unit teams will operate continuously and without weekends within the municipality's borders, especially in the Ancient Port.
