Motorcycle Mounts Pavement and Hits Pedestrians After Collision in Nicosia
A serious road traffic accident involving a car and a motorcycle occurred in Nicosia.
According to police reports, a 25-year-old car driver collided with a motorcycle operated by a 40-year-old man. The impact threw the motorcycle onto the pavement, where it struck two pedestrians, aged 21 and 20.
All victims were transported to Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital. The pedestrians are currently under observation in the emergency department.
The motorcyclist suffered a spinal fracture and was transferred to the Near East University Hospital, where he has been admitted to the intensive care unit.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
