Students poisoned by mercury at school: investigation launched
The incident occurred at the İnönü Secondary School in the Yenişehir district. A student brought mercury to school, which they found in an abandoned building, and began playing with it alongside classmates.
After some time, the children began showing symptoms of poisoning, including dizziness and nausea. Following the complaints, medical services and rescue units were called to the scene.
The affected students were hospitalized for observation and treatment. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
