The Nicosia Turkish Municipality (LTB) has signed a contract with Cyprus Pest Control for intensified pest control throughout the city.

The program includes the treatment of all sewage lines, manholes, and residential premises.

According to the plan, sewage lines and manholes will be treated twice a year — with an interval of approximately five months.

The first stage will begin in March, and the second will be carried out simultaneously with the treatment inside homes.

From May 1 to September 30, cockroach control is planned for more than 40,000 homes and workplaces.

For this purpose, a modern gel-based indoor treatment method will be used, which is safe for humans and the environment.

The municipality noted that due to urban growth and climatic conditions, the volume of work this year has doubled compared to previous years, which should make the pest control more effective.
