Two Detained in Lefkoşa Over Car Stereo Theft Case
In Lefkoşa, car stereos and speakers were stolen from vehicles — two suspects have been detained.
According to police, on February 15, 2026, around 15:00, unidentified individuals dismantled and stole a car stereo from a vehicle held in storage by the Nicosia Municipality, as well as a car stereo and two speakers from another vehicle.
Following reports of the incident, police launched an investigation. Two men, aged 24 and 22, were identified and detained as suspects.
The investigation is ongoing.
