Weather in Northern Cyprus on July 19: Temperatures Up to 42°C in Nicosia and Ercan

According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, on Friday, July 19, Northern Cyprus will experience low pressure and hot, humid air. The forecast predicts clear to partly cloudy weather with no precipitation.

Air temperatures will rise 3-5°C above average. The hottest temperatures today are expected in Nicosia and Ercan, reaching up to 42°C. In Lapta and Esentepe, temperatures will be around 32-33°C.

Winds will be northwesterly, moderate in strength, with occasional strong gusts. No storms are expected today.

Two meteorological warnings remain in effect for Northern Cyprus. The risk of wildfires has been raised to a very high level, and the ultraviolet radiation level is also very high.

It is advised not to stay in the sun for more than 10 minutes, especially between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, without taking necessary precautions.
