Car Crashes into Bar in Nicosia While Reversing
In Nicosia, a car accidentally reversed into a bar, resulting in injuries to a woman who was trying to exit the vehicle at the time.
According to the police press office, the unusual accident occurred the evening before around 7:30 PM on Osman Pasha Street. A 48-year-old man had parked his car by a building and, while getting out, accidentally engaged the reverse gear, causing the car to move backward.
At that moment, the driver’s 40-year-old wife had not yet exited the vehicle and was thrown to the ground, sustaining injuries.
Meanwhile, the car continued moving on its own and crashed into the tables and chairs of the “Beez” café-bar. Both the car and the establishment’s property were damaged in the collision.
The injured woman was taken to Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Nicosia, where she received first aid and is now under medical observation.
