On the last day of July, the air temperature in Nicosia and Ercan will rise to 41°C

According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, on Wednesday, July 31, the region continues to experience low pressure and hot, humid air. Meteorologists forecast clear, slightly cloudy weather with no precipitation.

The air temperature will rise 2-4°C above the seasonal average. The hottest weather today is expected in Nicosia and Ercan, reaching up to 41°C. On the northern coast, temperatures will range between 33-37°C.

The wind will be southwesterly and moderate in strength. No storms are expected today.

Two meteorological warnings remain in effect in Northern Cyprus. The country faces a very high risk of natural wildfires.

The level of ultraviolet radiation is also very high.

Avoid staying in the sun for more than 10 minutes, especially between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, without taking necessary precautions.
