Open Day at the Animal Shelter in Nicosia
The "Golden Paws" Association is organizing an open day at the animal shelter of the Nicosia Turkish Municipality (LTB). The event will take place on Sunday, January 28, at the shelter located in the industrial zone of the city.
In the association's statement, it is emphasized that the main goal of the event is to provide an opportunity for the public to spend time with the animals in the shelter and to raise awareness about the issue of stray dogs.
"On January 28, Sunday, from 10:00 to 15:00, we invite everyone to the animal shelter in Nicosia, in the Sanayi area. Those interested can donate wet and dry food, blankets, and leashes for walking the animals," says the organizers' message.
The organizers of the event also hope that, as a result of the initiative, some of the animals will find their new homes. Everyone interested is invited to attend the event.
