Drone flights banned in the Ercan Airport area
The Police General Directorate (Polis Genel Müdürlüğü) has announced a ban on launching drones near Ercan International Airport.
The decision was made to ensure flight safety. The restriction will remain in effect until further notice.
The ban covers the following districts and settlements: Akıncılar, Kırklar, Gaziköy, Balıkesir, Paşaköy, Yiğitler, Kırıkkale, Meriç, and Dilekkaya, as well as surrounding territories.
The police emphasized that legal action will be taken against those who violate the ban.
