Cycling and duathlon races will take place in Nicosia on Sunday

In Nicosia, cycling and duathlon races will take place on Sunday. Roads will be closed during the sporting events.

According to the police press service, the duathlon race will take place from 08:00 to 12:00 on Mehmet Akif and Osman Orek streets.

The sports competition is organized under the auspices of the Turkish-Cypriot Triathlon Federation.

In addition, from 08:30 to 11:30, the Turkish-Cypriot Cycling Federation will hold a cycling race on the route between the Sevgi roundabout on the Metehan-Alaykoy ring road and the Alaykoy roundabout.

The road route between the roundabouts will be closed to traffic. During the races, traffic will be diverted to alternative routes.

Drivers using these road routes are asked to observe the speed limit, not to park vehicles on the competition routes, and to obey road signs and markers.
