During the holidays, nearly 130,000 people used Ercan Airport
In the TRNC, the number of passengers arriving in the country and departing from Northern Cyprus during the Uraza-Bayram holiday was calculated. In total, almost 130,000 travelers used the services of Ercan Airport over 10 days.
According to the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation, the number of passengers arriving on the island and departing from the TRNC by air during the holiday period was 129,187 people.
From April 5 to 14, 63,687 passengers arrived in Northern Cyprus, while 65,500 people left the island.
In total, during the past holiday period, Ercan Airport served 827 aircraft: 414 arriving flights and 413 departing flights.
The highest number of aircraft and passengers was served on the last day of the weekend, on Sunday, April 14.
