Earthquake of magnitude 5.2 with epicenter in Bafra: no destruction recorded in Northern Cyprus
The Civil Defense Directorate reported in a written statement on November 12, 2025, that after the 5.2-magnitude earthquake with an epicenter in Bafra, no destruction was recorded in Northern Cyprus.
The statement noted that, according to initial information received from regional civil defense offices, no damage or destruction was detected in the TRNC territory.

According to the Civil Defense Directorate, operational information comes from district units, and final results will be provided after investigations are completed. So far, official inspections have not revealed significant destruction in Northern Cyprus.
