Rose Festival in Agros

The village of Agros invites you to its famous annual Rose Festival. During this time, the slopes of Troodos are painted bright pink, and the aroma of Damascus roses carries for kilometers. Guests can experience a century-old tradition founded by teacher Nearchos Clerides, who taught the locals the art of distilling rose water.

The festival program includes early morning petal harvesting while they are still wet with dew, distillation demonstrations, and a large fair on the village square. You can try unique products: rose oil, liqueurs, brandy, and the famous "Glyko Triantafyllo Agrou" jam, which is a protected geographical indication.
