Dusty Weather and Night Showers Expected in Cyprus on January 10
The Meteorological Department of the Republic of Cyprus reports that weak low-pressure conditions will persist across the region on Friday, January 10. Fine dust particles will remain present in the atmosphere throughout the day.
The first half of the day is expected to be mostly clear. However, as the afternoon progresses, cloud cover will increase, potentially resulting in isolated showers, particularly in the mountainous areas. According to the forecast, daytime temperatures will reach around 19°C inland, 21°C along the coast, and 12°C in the mountains.
In the evening and overnight hours, localized cloud cover along the coasts could lead to scattered downpours.
Nighttime temperatures are forecast to drop to about 7°C inland, 11°C along the coast, and 3°C in the mountains, where frost is expected in some areas. As of this morning, the snow depth at the highest peaks of the Troodos Mountains measured 17 cm.
Looking ahead, no significant changes in temperature are expected in the coming days, with conditions remaining slightly warmer than the seasonal average.
