Dust and Cloud Cover Expected Across Cyprus on May 16
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, moderate high pressure is expected over the region on Friday, May 16. Dust will linger in the atmosphere until Sunday.
Throughout the morning, skies will be partly cloudy with patches of high-altitude clouds. The sea is expected to be slightly rough.
Daytime temperatures are forecast to rise to around 29°C inland, 26°C along the coast, and 22°C in the mountains.
In the evening, cloud cover will increase. Overnight temperatures will drop to around 17°C inland and along the coast, and to about 14°C in the mountains.
Over the weekend and into Monday, periods of increased high cloud cover are expected. Light rain may fall on Saturday evening and Sunday morning.
Temperatures will climb noticeably on Saturday, followed by a sharp drop on Sunday.
