On May 21, Cyprus continues to experience hot and dusty weather
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, weak low pressure is affecting the region on Tuesday, May 21. Dust remains in the air, with the possibility of its concentration increasing. This condition is expected to persist until Friday.
During the first half of the day today, the weather will predominantly be clear, with occasional increased cloudiness. In western and southern coastal areas, there may be instances of low clouds, light haze, or fog.
As per the meteorological forecast, daytime temperatures will rise to 36°C inland, up to 27°C on the western coast, up to 29°C on other coasts, and up to 26°C in mountainous areas.
By evening, the weather is forecasted to remain mostly clear with continued increased cloudiness. Later, during the early morning hours, particularly in inland areas, the southeast, and east, there might be light haze or fog formation. The air temperature is expected to decrease to 20°C inland and on the coast, and to 17°C in mountainous regions.
It's anticipated that in the coming days, the air temperature will increase slightly before gradually decreasing by Friday, approaching seasonal climatic averages.
