Rainy Weather and Snow on Troodos Peaks: Cyprus Weather Forecast for January 23
The Republic of Cyprus Meteorology Department has reported that weak low-pressure systems will dominate the region on Thursday, January 23.
The day will start mostly cloudy, with scattered showers expected in various areas. Isolated thunderstorms may occur along the coasts, especially during the afternoon. On the peaks of the Troodos Mountains, wet snow is anticipated.

Daytime:
Temperatures will rise to around 16°C inland, 18°C along the coasts, and 7°C in the mountainous areas. -
Evening and Night:
The weather will remain partly cloudy overnight, with the possibility of isolated showers, mainly along the coastal areas. Nighttime temperatures are forecasted to drop to:- 6°C inland,
- 12°C on the eastern coast,
- 10°C on other coastal areas,
- 1°C in the mountains, where localized frost is expected.
As of this morning, the snow depth on the highest peaks of Troodos stands at 2 cm.
Outlook for the Coming Days:
No significant weather changes are expected in the next few days. Temperatures will remain steady, hovering near the seasonal average.
