24-year-old man remanded in custody over indecent acts in Limassol

A 24-year-old man will remain in custody until the court hearing, scheduled for the beginning of next month, following charges of committing indecent acts in the Amathus area of Limassol.

He has been charged with committing indecent acts after, according to the reports of the complainants, he twice performed sexual acts on himself in view of the victims. The first episode, according to police statements, occurred in August, and the second about a week ago in the Agia Varvara area of Amathus.

The defendant's lawyer objected to the police request for remand until trial. The prosecution presented its arguments, after which the court ordered the man to remain in custody until the hearing. The defendant denies all allegations.

The police continue their investigation and are searching for a second person who, according to the investigation, may be involved in the incidents.
