Rain and Thunderstorms with Hail Expected in Cyprus on July 25
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Thursday, July 25, the region will be affected by seasonal low pressure and an unstable air mass.
In the first half of the day, the weather will be mostly clear, but in the afternoon, variable cloudiness will develop. Isolated showers or thunderstorms are expected in the mountains and inland areas, with a possibility of hail during thunderstorms.
The meteorological service forecasts that temperatures will rise to 38°C in inland areas, 33°C on the west coast, around 35°C on other coasts, and 29°C in the mountainous areas. In the evening, localized increases in low cloud cover will be observed, and locally thin fog is expected to form.
By evening, temperatures will drop to 23°C in inland areas and on the west coast, around 24°C on other coasts, and down to 21°C in the mountainous areas.
Temperatures are expected to remain close to average in the coming days. By Sunday, temperatures are forecasted to gradually rise above the average climatic values.
