Localized rain and light dust are expected across Cyprus on May 28
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, weak low pressure will influence the region on Tuesday, May 28. Light dust will intermittently appear in the atmosphere.
During the first half of the day, increased cloud cover will lead to isolated showers, starting in the west and north before becoming more prevalent in mountainous and inland areas.
The meteorological forecast predicts daytime temperatures rising to 29°C inland, up to 28°C along the southeast, east, and north coasts, and 26°C along the coasts, with cooler temperatures of around 22°C in mountainous regions.
By evening, low cloud cover will temporarily increase, mainly in the west and north, potentially leading to light fog later in the country's interior and east. Light dust will also be present in the atmosphere.
Temperatures are expected to drop to 16°C inland, 17°C along the coasts, and 8°C in mountainous areas.
Temperature will gradually rise until Friday, remaining close to average climatic values or slightly exceeding them.
