Dusty Skies and Mountain Showers Expected in Cyprus on April 30
The Cyprus Department of Meteorology reports that Wednesday, April 30, will be marked by moderate low pressure across the region, along with a fine layer of dust lingering in the atmosphere.
In the morning, skies will be partly cloudy with mid- to high-level cloud cover, and isolated showers are likely—mainly during the early hours. The sea is expected to be slightly rough.
Daytime temperatures will reach around 27°C inland, 25°C along the coast, and 20°C in the mountains.
By evening, cloud cover will increase in some areas, with the chance of scattered showers continuing. Overnight temperatures will fall to around 14°C inland, 16°C on the coast, and just 7°C in the mountains.
Looking ahead, thunderstorms and hail are expected later in the week. By Saturday, temperatures—especially in mountainous areas—are forecast to drop below seasonal averages.
