Rainy Weather Continues Across Cyprus on September 5
The Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus reports that seasonal low pressure and an unstable air mass are affecting the region on Thursday, September 5.
The morning will start off mostly clear, but local cloudiness may increase at times, leading to rain or even thunderstorms in the afternoon, particularly in the mountains and inland areas. There is a chance of hail during thunderstorms.
According to the forecast, daytime temperatures will reach up to 36°C in inland areas, 31°C on the western coast, around 33°C on the other coasts, and 25°C in the mountains.
By evening and overnight, the weather will remain mostly clear, though patches of low cloud cover may develop in some areas.
Nighttime temperatures will drop to 21°C inland, 24°C along the coasts, and 18°C in the mountains.
In the days ahead, the weather is expected to stay mostly clear, though periods of increased local cloud cover are possible. In the afternoons, isolated showers or thunderstorms are likely, mainly in mountainous and inland regions.
Temperatures will gradually rise, remaining above the seasonal average.
