On May 6th, Cyprus is expected to have clear weather with brief showers in the mountains

According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Monday, May 6th, the region will be affected by weak low pressure.

Today in the first half of the day, the weather will be mostly clear. However, at noon and in the second half of the day, clouds are expected to appear, bringing isolated showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the mountains, south of Troodos, and also in the east of the country.

According to the meteorological forecast, the daytime air temperature will rise to 25°C in the inland areas, on the western and southwestern coasts, up to 26°C on the other coasts, and up to 15°C in the mountainous areas.

By evening, the weather will be mostly clear. The air temperature will decrease to 12°C in the inland areas, to 14°C on the coast, and to 5°C in the mountainous areas.

On Tuesday, the weather will be predominantly sunny, and on Wednesday and Thursday, there will be a temporary increase in high cloudiness.

Until Thursday, the air temperature will gradually rise significantly, fluctuating above the average climatic values.
