On May 8th, Cyprus will experience clear weather with rain in the mountains

According to the Republic of Cyprus Meteorology Department, on Wednesday, May 8th, the region will be under the influence of weak high pressure. Dust will reappear in the atmosphere from tomorrow.

Today, in the first half of the day, the weather will be mostly clear, while in the second half of the day, cloudiness will increase in some places, which does not exclude the possibility of isolated showers in the mountains. In the morning, there will also be a temporary increase in high cloudiness.

According to the meteorological forecast, the daytime temperature will rise to 29°C in inland areas, to 26°C on the southeast, east, and north coasts, to 24°C on other coasts, and to 18°C in mountainous areas.

By evening, the weather will be mostly clear, although high clouds may appear at times. Later, thin fog or even low cloudiness will form, mainly in eastern areas and inland. The air temperature will drop to 13°C inland, on the south, east, and north coasts, to 15°C on the west coast, and to around 8 degrees in mountainous areas.

Until Friday, the air temperature will gradually rise, fluctuating above average climatic values, but on Saturday, it will drop and return to near-average seasonal values.
