85-Year-Old Driver Crashes into Storefront in Old Nicosia
An 85-year-old man crashed his car into the storefront of a shop in Old Nicosia. Thankfully, the elderly driver only sustained minor injuries.
According to the police, the incident occurred the evening before, around 7:40 PM. The elderly driver was traveling along Rigainis Street when he lost control of his vehicle and collided with the glass front of the store.
Photos from the scene show that the car struck the storefront with its front end, causing significant damage to both the vehicle and the shop. However, the driver was virtually unharmed. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors confirmed he had only suffered minor injuries. His life and health are not in danger. The police are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
