On May 9th, Cyprus is expected to have clear but dusty weather

According to the Cyprus Meteorology Department, on Thursday, May 9th, the region will begin to be affected by weak low pressure. Dust will reappear in the atmosphere, the concentration of which may temporarily increase, especially from Friday.

Today, during the first half of the day, the weather will be predominantly clear, with temporary increases in medium and high cloudiness. The sea will generally be slightly restless.

According to the meteorological forecast, during the day, the air temperature will rise to 31°C in the inland areas, to 27°C in the southeast and on the eastern coast, to 26°C on the remaining coasts, and to 22°C in the mountainous regions.

By the evening, the weather will remain predominantly clear, with temporary increases in medium and high cloudiness. The air temperature will drop to 13°C inland and in the mountainous regions, to 18°C on the west coast, and to 16 degrees on the rest of the coast.

On Friday, the air temperature will slightly increase, fluctuating above average climatic values, and by Sunday, it will gradually decrease noticeably and become lower than the average seasonal values.
