Ayios Tychonas: temporary water supply interruption on November 11 due to maintenance works

In the Ayios Tychonas area in Cyprus, the water supply will be temporarily interrupted on November 11 due to scheduled maintenance works. This was reported by the source.
According to the water supply service, the interruption is related to the replacement of a key shut-off valve in the water system serving the area. The works are planned to be completed within one day; however, the exact outage period and the schedule for water supply restoration will depend on the technical complexity of the works.
It is preliminarily expected that about 600,000 consumers living both in Ayios Tychonas and neighboring communities will be affected. Authorities advise residents to prepare in advance: ensure a supply of water for daily needs and note that full water service may take several hours to restore after completion of the works.
Residents are advised to use water sparingly before and immediately after the planned interruption and to follow official announcements from municipal services.
