Large tree falls in Limassol: road blocked
Late on the evening of April 4, a large tree collapsed on Omonia Avenue in Limassol, blocking a significant part of the road.
The incident occurred around 22:00. According to police, the tree was uprooted and fell directly onto the roadway, forcing a temporary halt to traffic.
A parked car was damaged as a result of the fall. Fortunately, there were no injuries.
Police and municipal services worked at the scene to direct traffic and remove the tree from the road.
