Bus accident involving the Cyprus national handball team in Estonia

The Cyprus national handball team was involved in a traffic accident early on Saturday morning in Estonia. On the Tallinn–Tartu highway, in the Neanurme area, the bus carrying the delegation left the road and overturned due to difficult weather conditions. There were 23 people on board.
According to the Estonian Handball Federation, two members of the Cypriot team were taken to Tartu Hospital for a precautionary medical check-up. The remaining members of the delegation continued their journey on a replacement bus and safely arrived in Põlva.
The Estonian side stated that it remains in constant contact with the Cypriot team and representatives of the European Handball Federation, and also thanked the rescue services and ambulance crews for their prompt response.
