Britain to send two Wildcat military helicopters to Cyprus
Two British Wildcat military helicopters are scheduled to arrive in Cyprus today. This was announced by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who emphasized that the country is strengthening measures to protect its forces in the region.
According to him, British bases in Cyprus were not used for attacks against Iran; however, London is taking additional steps to ensure the security of military facilities.
The UK has also issued a new travel warning, stating a serious threat of terrorist attacks against British interests and citizens worldwide.
Meanwhile, Greek fighter jets conducted patrols last night in the maritime zone south and east of Cyprus. It was specified that the flight was not an interception mission.
